Finally I can post the shinanigans that happened while Denise was in town. Since her specific purpose for the trip was to surprise my mom, I couldn't share her stay on my blog. So Denise & Maria arrived on Friday night. I picked Denise up from my Aunt Marilyn's house and started off the weekend...
FRIDAY - We went to the opening of Creme De La Crepe in Redondo Beach with Erica, Kyle, Mark, Mark and Mike. It was packed! We waited an hour, but it was worth it. And I'm especially happy for Bruno, since his new restaurant was doing so well :-)
SATURDAY - We ran errands all day in preparation for the party. I introduced Denise to Trader Joes. SHE LOVES IT!! Who wouldn't really. Then after the party we geared up and went down to the Hermosa Pier. First we went to the Mermaid for a Martini then headed up to the UCC to watch Mark ride the bull!! We then ran into our old friend the shopping cart... Scary!
SUNDAY - We took Denise to Martha's for their famous breakfast and preferential treatment... No line waiting for this local :-)We walked along the strand, and showed her where the infamous Poop Deck Bar resides. I then showed her the Portofino Hotel where Mark and I are getting married, before we went to the mall. I think shopping is a Cuzzacrea tradition where ever you go, and who ever you visit. Card playing before dinner, and then AGAIN we went to Creme De La Crepe in Redondo Beach for Crepes.
Phew... it's been a long weekend. But I had so much fun, and I hope I've convinced Denise to come back once a year :-)

The best was the look on your mom's face when she realized that we were there.. Looking foward to June.
